Lindsay Lohan completed her required 90 days in rehab, but she’s far from done with her treatment completely. The CEO of Cliffside Malibu, where Lindsay spent her last several weeks in rehab, sent a letter to the actress’ judge saying that she needed more therapy to prevent a relapse.
Lindsay’s doctors recommended three, 50 minute sessions a week for the next 16 months, and the judge agreed with the decision. She will have to show up in court in November 2014 with proof that she’s completed this requirement.
Meanwhile, LiLo’s lawyer was in court on Wednesday with proof that she completed her original 90 day sentence, and says the actress is “doing amazing.”
In addition to the 16 extra months of therapy, Lindsay is required to do community labor as part of the original plea bargain. The judge has allowed her to complete this in New York, where she lives, so long as it’s approved by the Santa Monica City attorney.
Coming up, Lindsay will appear as a guest host on Chelsea Lately this Monday. She’s then scheduled to head to Europe for the premiere of her movie The Canyons at the Venice Film Festival.
