Q&A: Stacy Keibler Talks Supermarket Superstar & Clean Eating

Stacy Keibler

Stacy Keibler gained public attention through her two year relationship with George ClooneyNow that the couple is broken up, though, Stacy is making a name for herself on her own — starting with her hosting duties on Lifetime’s new show Supermarket Superstar.

Star spoke with the former WWE Diva about her new gig and her own personal interest in food and clean eating.

You are hosting the show Supermarket Superstar! Have you been experimenting with food yourself?

I have actually been experimenting with sugar free deserts. Dairy free, gluten free…basically extremely healthy and and clean…while still trying to keep the sugar and sweet taste in them to keep their yuminess. I’m contastntly experiementing in the kitchen!

What is your food guilty pleasure?

If I really have a cheat day, I’ll probably have something like pizza with thin crust — just because I usually don’t eat dairy. My favorite restaurant is  Cafe Gratitude, so anything from there too!

How did you decide to become a part of Supermarket Superstar?

Well, it was a natural fit for me because I was already developing my healthy food line. So, I could really relate to the contestants and what they were going through. It’s such a difficult process, so it’s a great show to help them get all the tools they need and get them on the fast track.

Have you always had an interest in food?

I took cooking classes when I was really young and my mom was a really good cook. I had a home cooked meal every night and I really learned a lot from her and from watching the Food Network. I work with different chefs that are healthy chefs and I try to learn something new from everyone. The show is something that people can relate to from 22 to 92. It’s really convenient.
