Although Lea has remained under the radar since Cory’s death on Saturday, she’s released a second statement through her rep after Cory’s autopsy results were released on Monday. The actor’s autopsy and toxicity reports revealed that he died of a mixed drug toxicity, with heroin and alcohol found in his system.
“Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends and fans,” her rep said in the statement. “Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.”
On Sunday, Lea’s rep had released another statement, simply asking for the actress’ respected privacy during this difficult time, so the message this time around is significantly more detailed.
Lea was not with Cory at the time of his death. He was found in a Vancouver hotel room by cleaning staff after he missed his checkout time on Saturday.
