As far as we know, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are broken up (even if they did spend July 4th together), but is she now taking to her music to tell us about it?! While the media tends to relate any new song by either of these artists to their breakup, this one has a major hint that could just make it super obvious.
At the beginning of Selena’s new track “Love Will Remember,” a voicemail is played, that’s clearly a guy talking to a girl he’s trying to make amends with. Well, the speculation going around is that it’s an actual voicemail that Justin left Selena! While it doesn’t exactly sound like the Biebs, the audio could’ve clearly been altered, or it could just be his actual words recorded by another male voice.
“Hey babe, it’s me, I just wanted to call to tell you that I love you so, so, so, so much,” the voicemail says. “Just wanted to let you know that you are my princess. You are worthy of all of the love in the world. You are the love of my life.”
Bleh. Okay, I get this is supposed to be “romantic,” but who actually says things this sappy these days? Take a listen to the full song and weigh in on whether or not you think it’s Justin in the voicemail!
