Cameron Diaz’s 2011 film Bad Teacher may have just been another rom-com, but it somehow turned into a box office success, bringing in $216 million worldwide. Now, the film may even be getting a sequel!
Columbia Pictures announced Thursday that they’d begun developing a sequel to the film, which also stars Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel. The project is reportedly being developed with Cameron in mind, although she has not officially signed on for anything just yet.
The movie’s casting originally caused some controversy, as Cameron and Justin are famous exes, but the duo handled the filming and press professionally. Now that Justin is actually married to Jessica Biel, though, things could be a little different. However, there’s been no word yet on whether or not Jason and Justin are set to reprise their roles.
