Rita Ora is about to become far more than just Rob Kardashian’s mysterious ex-girlfriend (ya know, the one who people say caused him to get fat)! The British singer was just announced as the new face for Madonna and her daughter Lourde’s clothing line Material Girl.
“Rita is a talented beauty, but what really drew us to her is the confidence she oozes through her music and unique sense of style,” Madonna and Lourdes said in a statement. “On stage or off, in photos or on the street — she’s a magnet! That is what the Material Girl brand is all about!”
Meanwhile, Rita shared her own excitement about the new gig on Instagram, captioned to a photo of herself with Madonna. “Joining forces with Madonna & Lola! It’s Official Ritabots – I’m the new face of @MaterialGirl. #thisisamoment for me #icon #mymuse #argghhhhh #yeeeeaaahhhhhhh #excited,” she wrote.
Madonna and Rita actually just met on June 1 at the Chime for Change concert in London, and clearly they hit it off to make a killer pairing!
