The Voice Top 5 Revealed: Who Went Home?

Swon Brothers, Holly Tucker, Amber Carrington

Another cut has been made on The Voice Season 4, and just like that, the Top 6 has become a Top 5. And, yes, for the first time since live eliminations began, coach Blake Shelton has lost one of his three artists.

Although country music is the dominant force on this season of the show, only three country singers remain as Texas-native Holly Hunter was given the axe. Holly has a strong voice and has delivered solid performances week after week, but unfortunately for her, so have the rest of the contestants, and this week she wasn’t quite up to par with the other ladies.

As we know, I personally think one of Blake’s other team members, the Swon Brothers, should’ve gotten the boot, but their fun personalities seem to stand out to America more than Holly’s quieter persona. After all, it’s America’s vote that’s keeping these singers in or out of the competition.

After this week, Blake is left with two contestants, the Swons and Danielle Bradbery, while Usher, Shakira and Adam Levine still have one each, Michelle Chamuel, Sasha Allen and Amber Carrington, respectively.

I still have my eye on Amber to take it all, but based on Twitter followers and iTunes downloads, America seems to favor Danielle and Michelle as front runners. We’ll have to see how it all pans out over the next two weeks!
