With a new reality show in the works, a wedding on the horizon and guest spots on two hit TV shows, Glee and The New Normal, NeNe Leakes takes time out of her busy schedule to talk to Star.
Congratulations on your new spinoff, I Dream of NeNe. What’s happening with the wedding so far?
We have started planning and it’s all really exciting. We will marry in just a few short months at home in Atlanta, and the show will be debuting this fall.
Have you made any plans for the bachelorette party yet?
One of my bridesmaids is hosting the party. I don’t know where it’s going to be, but I am definitely having one!
Congratulations on being the spokesperson for Pretzelmaker’s National Pretzel Day today, where people are encouraged to tell a joke to get a free soft pretzel. What is your all-time favorite joke?
I’m not a really big joke person. I think it’s a bit of an old man syndrome! I think I’m funny, but I think old men are the ones that always have a joke ready. Greg has a lot of jokes, and I don’t like it when he starts. I’m always like, “Ah, no, stop! That’s an old man syndrome.” But I do have a joke for you! Can you tell me what is 6 inches, has a head on it and makes all women go crazy? A $100 bill!
